Howdy folks,i did not setup at all this year,so i dicided to grab my camera and head for signal hill, this is where SONRA has there ARRL Feilday setup every year, they had at least 3 HF stations setup with SSB and CW going full bore, with VO1TX at the key.

While at the other radios controls was VO1GXG,looks like he was haveing lots of fun, specially getting hints from VO1DZ.

The PACTOR-3 station was also being utilized for a short while, the NEW terminal unit, provided by Lorie  Cashin VO1XC-sk  on behalf the Canadian goverment nearly 3 years ago,big story behind this..hi

And as every other year SONRA was out in full force getting there makeshift tower's and antennas into tiptop shape, one was used for VHF 6m 2m and 70cm triband yagi.

While the second tower utilized a HF yagi, looks like 20m or a multiband yagi. in either case, both looked awsome.

There equipment was setup in the Canada Coast guard portable communications complex, the Enviromental responce
intervention building.

All in all,it was a enjoyable visit,i hope the gang done well, and on another note, this same setup well be utilized for the Canada day contest July,1 from the same QTH as it is now.

Good luck guys,im going to be on there too..hihi
